From the North, South and West (M4, M54, M6, M50, M5)

Take the M5 to junction 4, sign posted Birmingham, Bromsgrove and Stourbridge. Take the A38, Halesowen Road towards Bromsgrove and follow the road for approximately 50 yards. Take the first left off the main road into Lydiate Ash Road. Proceed to the end and turn left and then immediately first right into Alvechurch Highway. Follow this lane all the way to the end. Turn left onto Old Birmingham Road. Tranquil House is a 150 yards up on the right. Please park in the car park at the rear of the building. There is off road Disabled parking at the front of the building.

From Birmingham City Centre

Follow the A38, Bristol Road through Edgbaston, Selly Oak and Northfield (approximately 8 miles) until you reach Longbridge roundabout. Go straight on at the roundabout following signs to Barnt Green / Lickey. At the next island (with the Oak Tree Pub on your left) turn right and follow the B4096 (Rose Hill) towards Lickey. Go up and over the hill which is now the Old Birmingham Road. Continue down the hill a little way and you will pass the entrance to Lickey Hills Primary School on your right and a road on your left called Lickey Square. Tranquil House is 150 yards further on your left. Please park at the rear of the building. There is off road Disabled parking at the front of the building.

There is a train service from New Street to Longbridge which runs every 10-15 minutes throughout the hour.
Cost: Early Morning- £3.40 return. Thereafter- £2.35 return

From Longbridge station a taxi will cost approximately £ 7.00.

You can also catch the number 62 bus from the end of Longbridge Lane, this will take you to the top of the Lickey Road where you can then catch the 202 that goes past Tranquil House.

Note: The number 202 bus only runs once hourly.

To get to Tranquil House by bus, catch the number 62 outside Rackhams on Corporation Street. The bus will stop at the terminus in Rednal, this journey will take about half an hour. The number 62 runs between every 6-15 minutes.

Note: There is no return fare, but a Day Saver Card will be a little cheaper if a return is required.

Diamond Bus Information Line – 0121 557 7337

After the number 62 bus, you will need to catch the 202 in Rednal from opposite the Hare and Hounds pub. This bus only runs once an hour at 38 minutes past the hour. The bus will take you up Rose Hill and over the top into Old Birmingham Road, about a 5 minute journey. Ask the bus driver to stop at Lickey Square. When you get off the bus, as you walk down the Old Birmingham Road, you will have to cross over the road called Lickey Square and Tranquil house is 100m on the left.

The return journey only runs at 25 minutes past the hour and the Bus stop is across the road from Tranquil House, near to the driveway of Lickey Hills Primary School.
